Ingredients for cookies
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup ground almonds
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 14 cup maple syrup
Ingredients for strawberry frosting:
- 1 cup Delishh strawberries
- 1 cup butter
- 3 cup confectioners sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Method:
For Cookies-
- Preheat your oven to 180 C
- In a bowl, mix the flour, almonds, baking powder and salt
- In a separate bowl, mix tahini and maple syrup
- Now combine the two mixtures
- Roll the dough and cut out cookie shapes using a cookie cutter
- Bake them for 7-10 minutes until golden brown
For Strawberry Frosting-
- Blend the strawberries; puree until smooth
- Transfer the strawberry puree into a saucepan and boil it over low heat. Stir often until the puree is reduced to half. Remove from heat and let it cool completely.
- Beat butter in a bowl until smooth and add 1 cup sugar to it. Blend to form a smooth mix
- Add vanilla extract and 2 tbsp strawberry puree after it has cooled down and mix it well.
- Now add rest of the confectioner's sugar and blend it well.
- At last, blend 2 more tbsp of strawberry puree to the mixture
